Four cameras and a 50x zoom, Huawei P30 bets

Huawei presented in Paris (France) the three models of its new line of smartphones.

The Chinese company Huawei presented on Tuesday, at an event in Paris (France), its new P30 phone family, which includes three versions: the P30, the P30 Pro and the P30 Lite. Four cameras that promise the best results in photographs and a "dual-view" mode to record simultaneously with two of the cameras are some of the most outstanding features of the P30 Pro, the most premium version of the series and the flagship of the signature


The camera, undoubtedly, is one of the big bets for this line and had great prominence during the launch at the Convention Center of the French capital.

On this occasion the P30 Pro brings significant advances in the quality of the image, the depth effect and the zoom capability. It also comes with double optical image stabilizer and a much higher level of sensitivity to light, which will capture excellent photographs in low light conditions.

Like its 'younger brother', it brings a fingerprint sensor under the screen and a 'notch' in the shape of a drop, a feature that has predominated in this 2019. Its screen is 6.4 inches OLED with Full HD + resolution 2.340x1.080 pixels, with a slight curvature at the edges and without frames to take advantage of the front and the space on the panel.

The P30, meanwhile, has a 6.1-inch OLED screen, with a resolution of 2,340x1,080 pixels, Kirin 980 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

As for battery, the P30 will be 3,650 mAh, while the P30 Pro will be 4,200 mAh, both with rapid charging system. But the P30 Pro, in addition, includes the system of reversible load.The phones have USB-C charging port, will come with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and will be available in four colors: blue, black, white and red.

If we talk about the P30 Lite, the most basic version of the line, it comes with a 6-inch IPS screen, 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM. It is equipped with the Kirin 710 processor.


Chambers, the great protagonists
The cameras of this new family stole much of the attention during the launch event, especially for the other lenses included in the P30 Pro: a main one of 40 MP with focal aperture of 1.8, another of 20 MP ultra wide angle with focal aperture 2.2, which allows wider viewing angles for, for example, landscape shots; and an 8 MP telephoto lens (f / 2.4).

Huawei emphasized the capabilities of this lens and the bonus it will give users by including a 5x optical zoom and a 10x hybrid zoom, which means that, thanks to the latter, you can zoom in 10 times more without losing quality. But not only that, the Asian giant also included a digital zoom of up to 50 magnifications.

The P30 Pro incorporates a fourth ToF 3D camera, located on the right side under the LED flash, which serves to improve the capabilities of the image depth and achieve better quality bokeh effects (with the background out of focus).

The phone has a double image stabilizer and a much higher ISO, with a level of light capture increased to 40 percent, which allows you to capture images in low light scenarios.

But perhaps one of the most striking novelties is a feature called 'dual-view' video mode , which will record, simultaneously, with two of the phone's cameras to have, for example, a close-up view and another wide-angle at the same time .

This will make it much easier to shoot objects that move fast in the distance and in the meantime capture the foreground.

The P30 includes three rear cameras with 40, 16 and 8 megapixel lenses, the latter with 5x hybrid zoom, while those of the P30 Lite are 20 MP, 16 MP and 2 MP. Meanwhile, the front cameras are 32 MP for all three versions.
